Family Hike at the Wildflower Trail, Monte Sano Nature Preserve
Overview: The trail name says it all, and April is peak wildflower season. Since this hike is geared toward young explorers don’t expect an in depth review of wildflower identification and taxonomy. We will have a fun sensory hike that lets us enjoy this beautiful trail alongside Fagan Creek, and yes, we will learn a few flowers too!
Trail description: 1 mile over moderate terrain. Trail gradually climbs over a half mile beside Fagan Creek. Best suited for children 5+, but all ages are welcome.
