Old Rail Road Bed History Hike with Bruce MartinOld Railroad Bed Trail on Monte Sano Nature Preserve follows the same path as the steam locomotive that traveled from the Huntsville Depot to the Monte Sano Hotel from 1888 until 1896. Enjoy a bit of Huntsville history with hike leader and historian Bruce Martin. (3 hours / Difficult / 4 miles)

You don’t need fancy equipment! However, we do recommend:
• long pants and comfortable shoes with good tread
• bottled water
• hiking sticks
• trail snacks
• and a camera to capture the experience
