Alabama A&M Biology & Environmental Science/Wildlife Program Assistant Andrew Cantrell will point out who or what may live in the pristine cove and streams of South Green Mountain along the popular Alum Hollow trail. Please wear boots! Snacks, water, and camera recommended.
Directions: From South Memorial Parkway take Weatherly Road, then right onto Bailey Cove Road. Go 1.2 miles and  turn left onto Green Mountain Road. At the top of the mountain take the right onto South Shawdee Road. Travel past the Nature Trail and subdivision “The Preserve”. The small Green Mountain Nature Preserve/Alum Hollow trailhead is  marked with a large green Land Trust logo sign.
